Over £40,000 for The Royal British Legion raised to date!

The Warwickshire Poppy Ball is a black tie charity ball organised to raise funds for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Charity for them to put towards the vital work they do supporting service and ex-service men and women.

2014 saw the return of the Warwickshire Poppy Ball, after a rest period of eight years. The event used to run annually but in 2006, after 20 years the event was rested. 2014 being the centenary of World War 1 seemed a fitting time to resurrect the event and it was a huge success. Since its relaunch, the event has raised over £40,000 for The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The 2017 Warwickshire Poppy Ball will take place at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford upon Avon, a hotel set alongside the River Avon. The date has been set for 4th November. Tickets are now available and can be booked through the website or by contacting the committee by email or by phone on 01926 650484.

Guests will enjoy a sparkling drinks reception followed by a four course dinner. During dinner the auctioneer takes to the floor and guests are invited to bid on one of the many lots available. For those who prefer a more sedate bidding experience a silent auction and raffle run during the evening. After dinner everyone takes to the dance floor to dance through to the early hours.

Your support would be greatly appreciated to help us raise funds for The Royal British Legion. We would be very grateful for any Auction/raffle donations, sponsorship, or advertising bookings for the programme.

All work associated with the organisation of this event is done voluntarily by the committee. Should you like to receive further information or discuss the event please contact one of the committee members whose details are on the contacts page.
